New York City is a great destination for a weekend trip. New York City Central Park is a great place for a stroll. A just walk throughout this park gave me much pleasure to refill energy. Top of the Rock Observation Deck, the newly opened , 3-tiered observation deck on the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, is New York City’s most amazing attraction. My unforgettable experience includes a panoramic 360-degree, unobstructed view from the 70th floor observatory, 850 feet in the sky. The crowded Statue of Liberty Museum base is must see sight as it is historically significant. Another attraction, Empire State Building is one of the most famous and storied buildings in the world boast an 86th-floor observatory with spectacular views of New York City and beyond.
New York State’s restaurants will please everyone, including the fine gourmet. It also satisfies a sports enthusiast’s appetite. Here you can attend professional football, baseball, basketball and hockey games

Newark is the gateway to New Jersey- the financial, commercial, transportation, and cultural nucleus of the garden state, and is home of Weequahic Golf Course and the Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park.

Newark offers a rich variety of quality entertainment, dining, culture and sports. I, during my trip whole throughout Newark, was attracted its one of the most streamlined transportation system in the world.
Newark’s proximity to New York is an added advantage for exploring the city; however, it has much to offer itself. The Newark Museum is considered one of the most extensive fine arts museums in the US- its Tibetan collection, which includes a Buddhist Altar that was consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama, is of particular interest.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year including choirs, orchestras, dance performances and more. In April, the annual Cherry blossom display in the US.  The ironbound neighborhood is also of interest to us. This well-preserved area is home to the 1933 Pennsylvania Train Station, as well as several historic churches, parks and buildings. We felt a renewed feeling of hope and optimism in the city.

The Ocean Life Center that its interactive life exhibits and get a birds-eye view of nature at the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Glittering nightlife, thrilling gaming venues, upscale shopping, sparkling beaches and the world’s most famous four-mile boardwalk enthralled us.

World-class golf and fishing, luxurious casino hotels and resorts in Atlantic city provided a thrilling experience. The city has an impressive history of popular culture, boasting the nation’s first Boardwalk, the world’s first Big Wheel, the first color postcards and the first Miss America Beauty Pageant. Golfers also frequent the region for the diverse array of challenging courses from the renowned Seaview Marriott to the links at Blue Heron Pines. Wine connoisseurs will delight visiting the Renault Winery, one of the oldest, operating wineries in the country, as well as the family family-owned Bellview Winery.

Philadelphia is an ideal place to spend a long weekend. What attracted me most in Philadelphia is the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were signed. Both Liberty Hall and Independence Hall part of Independence National Historic Park. Other charming sights that appeal me are some outstanding art museums, including the Rodin Museum. The Franklin Institute Science Museum is one of many area attractions honoring the life and work of Benjamin Franklin. Philadelphia is a place of contrasts: Grace Kelly and Rocky Balboa; Le Bec-Fin—one of the nation’s finest French haute cuisine restaurants—and the fast food heaven of Jim’s Steaks, independence Hall and the Mario Lanza Museum; 18th century national icons with 21st century- style skyscrapers soaring above them. The world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra performs in a stunning concert hall—the focal point of efforts to transform Broad Street into multicultural Avenue of the Arts In whole throughout my Philadelphia journey, I felt it is a city of superlatives: the world’s largest municipal park; the best collection of public art in the United States; and the widest variety of urban architecture in America.

I did not get disappointed when I was looking for a night of raucous rock ‘n’ roll, refined theater. The city offers to visitors a wide array of entertainment options from the break of day until mid night.

Blessed with year-round mild climates and unrivaled ocean access, America’s southern resort city is my much sought-after international pastime destination. I along with my family were very much involved  into sports, sunshine or salsa, Miami sizzles all year long with exciting entertainment venues and attractions, world-class hotels and restaurants, great beaches and a nightlife that never sleeps.

In Miami at night, the day is just beginning. The city’s cultural diversity is another incentive. We visited attractions like Little Havana, the Latin American Art Museum and Latin nightclubs that liven the evening. Miami’s array of live music clubs, which range from jazz to blues to Afro-Cuban and even rumba rap, are sure to satisfy a variety of tastes.

Miami is a stunning and often intoxicatingly beautiful place. People, not climate or landscape, makes Miami unique. Sparkling waters that are a magnet for boating enthusiasts, anglers, divers and water spot aficionados added attraction to Miami. Making the best use of what time we had by knowing where our points of interest could help us save more of our energy for the activities this city offers.

I must say I adored and enjoyed fully my trip to Ft Lauderdale. In December, the weather is nothing but perfect. It is lovely with stunning beaches and flourishing vegetation. However, I do not think it is the cheapest destination.

A Fort Lauderdale trip would no be complete without a trip to two great pubs on the 17th Street Dirty Harry’s and Waxy O’Conner’s. Airboat rides are close to Fort Lauderdale, but we needed to rent a car to get there. Additionally, some of the airboat parks close to Fort Lauderdale are not very “evergladish” and I recommend a trip to the Everglades National Park.

Fort Lauderdale offers fun and attractions for the whole family including cruises, amusement parks, museums, natural centers, performing arts and a host of dining experiences. With stunning blue wave beaches and palm-lined shorelines, Fort Lauderdale is the perfect vacation destination. Moreover, with over 30,000 hotel rooms, Fort Lauderdale provides a wide variety of accommodations to suit any taste of budget.
It is a wealthy city on the cutting edge of fashion and the arts. It is a beachside community cluttered with sunscreen and souvenirs. It is connected by Las Ollas Boulevard and the New River, which makes up the city’s “streets-by-water”.

In addition to the beautiful surroundings, numerous historic sights, museums, chic sidewalk cafes and a 22-block long waterfront walkway all contribute to this city’s captivating appeal. While South Beach is magnet for the so-called circuit boys- gay men who party on a continual, ritualistic basis- Fort Lauderdale has a lower key, small-town scene similar to that of Provincetown. Here, local gay owned and operated bars, clubs, and restaurants are the places of choice for those who find South Beach’s scene too pretentious, superficial, and drug infested. The neighborhood Wilton Manors is the hub of gay life, but there is smattering of gay establishments throughout the city.
 

In Ft Myers, I found a variety of activities- from shelling on nearby barrier islands to attending concerts at the performance halls- from visiting historical museum to experiencing how rain is made at the children’s hands-on museum.

 What we enjoyed most was relaxing on the beach or by the pool, and walking along the beach. It really was beautiful. We went to Charley’s Boathouse for dinner and it was just okay. We liked the salad bar, bread and beverages. We found the filet cuts to be tasty but on the small side and w drove about 5-10 minutes north west to the pier/shops/ restaurants area. It was nice to walk around and check out the shops. The area of the beach was very crowded with many younger folks having fun. There were bars with live music in the area, and also ice cream and fudge shops. We walked a couple of blocks to have dinner. Dining was good, and the view of the marina was nice.

In Ft Myers the smiles greet you as warm as is subtropical sun. The area offers opportunity for those who are living here year round, visitors who come back year after year and those who here for the first time.
There is plenty  to see and do in and around Fort Myers, and there are too many attractions to describe here. After taking a beautiful sunset you can enjoy the Ft Myers nightlife, with its world class performing arts, many restaurants and watering holes.

The Imaginarium offers fun for the whole family. This science museum features more than 60 interactive exhibits. These fun and educational exhibits allow children to learn about the environment, weather and other topics. Here attractions include animals, aquariums displaying marine life, a touch pool, and hurricane simulator.

The Florida weather is ideal for eating alfresco, and many restaurants in downtown Fort Myers and Ft Myers beach offers outdoor dining.
